Hi, I’m Jenn Ederer, owner of Greencrest Manor, and I’m thrilled you’re here.

For nearly 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of being a multi-passionate creative entrepreneur, guiding couples through some of the most joyful and memorable moments of their lives. What began as a leap of faith is now a thriving career that allows me to do what I love every single day. It’s truly a gift to serve our beloved clients with my incredible team, who share in the mission of making every moment feel unforgettable.

What I never imagined was how much this magical space would come to mean not only to our clients but also to me personally. It’s become a true haven, a place where love, connection, and joy flourish, and it’s a deep honor to offer others the opportunity to create lifelong memories here.

    At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to serving others with heart and intention. As a wedding professional and industry leader with Modern Day Collective, I’ve spent nearly two decades perfecting my craft in event design and planning. My expertise lies in creating authentic, heartfelt experiences that make people feel at home. From our first conversation to the last goodbye, I’m passionate about bringing people together and helping them craft the kind of memories that stay with them forever.

    Running a business that requires countless weekends and late nights away from home is no easy feat. But when you love what you do as much as we do at Greencrest, it doesn’t feel like work—it feels like purpose. I couldn’t be prouder of the amazing team behind the scenes who work tirelessly to bring each event to life. Together, we strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where our clients and their guests can truly feel at home. The care and dedication we put into every detail ensure that every experience at Greencrest Manor is as unique and meaningful as the love it celebrates.

    When I’m not at Greencrest, you’ll find me spending quality time with my family, soaking in quiet moments in the garden, or enjoying live music. I’m often seeking creative inspiration through travel or savoring a great meal and conversation with friends. I truly feel blessed to live this life.

OUR HISTORY

Located in an enchanting wood just outside of Battle Creek, Michigan, lies the splendor of Greencrest Manor.

From the moment you drive through our wrought-iron gates and up our tree-lined drive, you will be transported into a 17th century French countryside chateau that evokes the feelings of Europe effortlessly mixed with the geniality of Michigan.

Nestled on 15 acres and built over 85 years ago on the site of a favorite picnic spot, Greencrest Manor is a 13,000-square-foot French Normandy mansion in an enchanting location to begin your most celebrated adventure yet – your marriage. Adorned with cascading ivy, sprawling formal gardens, lush fruit orchards and an atmosphere that radiates hospitality and historical opulence, the scene will leave a lasting impression.

HOW TO GET HERE

We are located in southwest Michigan, a short trip from Grand Rapids, Chicago, or Detroit.

  • Greencrest Manor is a short, one hour (48 mile) drive from Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), located in Grand Rapids. GRR provides 35 direct flights daily to numerous major cities, including New York, NY, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, Phoenix, and yes, even Las Vegas! Other regional airports within an hour’s drive to Greencrest include the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport (AZO) in Kalamazoo, and Capital Region International Airport (LAN) in Lansing. The major “hub” airports closest to Greencrest are Detroit Metro Airport (DTW), located an hour and forty minutes (105 miles) east, and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) three hours away (191 miles) to the west, both along Interstate 94.

  • Battle Creek is serviced by the Wolverine Service and Blue Water Amtrak trains. These trains stop at Battle Creek Station a total of four times daily, arriving in Battle Creek as early as 8:51 a.m., and departing Battle Creek as late as 9:24 p.m daily. Even better, Battle Creek Station is a mere 5 miles from Greencrest! The Wolverine and Blue Water trains service Detroit, Royal Oak, Troy, and Ann Arbor to the east, and Niles, New Buffalo, and Chicago to the west.

  • If you prefer to come to see us in your car, you will find Greencrest located approximately 5 miles due north of downtown Battle Creek. Battle Creek is located along I-94, 120 miles from downtown Detroit to the east, and 170 miles from downtown Chicago to the west. The major north-south highways serving Battle Creek are M-66 through the heart of Battle Creek, US 131, located 29 miles west, and I-69, just 10 miles east. Have your co-pilot check in with Google Maps as you get closer to Greencrest, as there are several shortcuts to shave a few minutes off your drive.
