COVID-19 Stillness in the Solitude

Greencrest has been an incredible respite for us during this chaotic time of COVID-19.   In a world literally shrouded in uncertainty, we’ve watched this property come alive with the sounds of nature. The trees are blooming, buds are sprouting, and what was once a ruin of dirt is now thriving with colorful petals.  As the human world has had to readjust and reconfigure, mother nature is thriving and happy - more than ever before. This alone has caused us to pause and truly reflect about the life we’ve built and the experience we want to create for Greencrest’s guests. 

We’ve heard it said - LOVE isn’t canceled. We’ve heard it said - HOPE isn’t canceled. We’ve also heard it said that we’ll RISE UP through this… stronger than ever before. We 100% believe all this to be true.

We also believe that more than ever, we’re going to listen to our hearts. We’re going to be more dedicated to our dreams. We’re going to appreciate the ability to gather, spread joy, and laugh event that much more. Celebrations of all sizes will be a wonderful, refreshing experience for our hearts and souls - a true reflection of life and love.

We’ve done hundreds of large scale events, as a collective company, over the last 15 years - they’re one of our specialties. However, we’re also gifted at putting together incredibly personalized, intimate gatherings. The size of an event has never mattered to us, but the heart behind the event always has.  Ensuring our guests are catered to with the utmost care is our highest priority, every time. Your event is in loving hands, regardless of the size. 

As Greencrest bursts forward with new life in the way of fluttering blooms, creeping vines, and chirping birds during this strange season, we can’t help but look forward to the days our grounds are filled with loving embraces, lively dances, laughter amongst generations, and new unions. What magical days those will be.

When we look back on this time in our lives and tell our future grandchildren stories of what happened for these weeks and months, we hope that the underlying lesson was purely love. When this is all over - we can’t wait to witness a renewed vigor for expressing love, simple acts of kindness, and relishing the littlest pleasures of life.

Our hope for you during this time of COVID-19, is that you have a newfound closeness with your loved ones. That you’re celebrating the small wins as much as the big wins. That you’re able to find satisfying stillness in the solitude.
